On June 13, 2023, Donald J. Trump was arrested, fingerprinted and charged with 37 counts of criminal violations of putting the United States in danger under the Espionage Act. He was indicted in Federal Court in Miami, Florida.
The Rule of Law prevailed showing no one is above the law not even a former president. This is a good day for Justice and the American people. The documents he took from the White House and would not return puts our country, our allies and "secrets" to defend ourselves in jeopardy.
Unfortunately for the prosecution, Judge Aileen Cannon has been assigned the case, the same judge who ruled against the prosecution and had to go to the 11th Circuit Appeal Court to get justice and reverse everything she did as "not her right". This is a very serious problem, because Trump wants to delay the trial for as long as he can before the 2024 election. The thought this judge could dismiss the case against Trump because he appointed her to a life long job as a federal judge just in 2020 is beyond belief, but it is a possibility.
The American people must believe justice will prevail in the future and Trump will not get off Scott free for his criminal actions that put our country, people and allies in jeopardy.
