What Is The Truth Between Suzanne Somers and Cancer?

On February 20th, DATELINE on NBC did an interview with Ms. Somers and Dr. Nancy Snyderman. I was shocked to hear SHE NEVER HAD CANCER. She said in 2001 she had a CT Scan and the doctor (unnamed) at the hospital, (city and state also unnamed) told her "he had never seen so much cancer.." She had "a large mass on her lung, liver, and so many tumors". She said she had "surgery and radiation, but would not have chemotherapy" but later stated, "she was misdiagnosed." A biopsiy showed she had "an infection called Valley Fever." In other words, she never underwent surgery for breast cancer as she lead everyone to believe she had for so many years. The only "surgery" she must have had (from her own lips) was "a biopsy."

Ms. Somers is 64 years old and her recent success is from selling her own books, the main one is called "Knockout" and there were 365,000 copies sold... that is a lot of money! What she is selling is Alternative Cancer Treatments... buy why? She never had cancer so why would she continue on vitamins, supplements and hormone creams daily, to treat something she never had? The Spokeswoman from Sloan-Kettering Cancer Hospital in New York stated that none of Ms. Somers' advice is backed by facts in any shape or form. She endorsed two doctors in her book (Knockout) who are described as "quaks" and she is described on the internet as a "Snakeoil Saleswoman" - what an absolute shock!

She endorsed a man named Dr. Burzenski, who demands between $15,000 -20,000 up front from any and all patients who enter his hospital - insurance will not pay for it! NBC used an example of a 9 year-old girl who died from a brain tumor under Dr. Burzenski's care and treatment. This doctor has a foreign accent like Dr. Dorigo in my case. She also endorsed a Dr. Niclolas Gonzales, and Columbia University stated that his theories and treatment for pancreatic cancer are wrong. Pancreatic Cancer is considered the most dangerous because people typically die within 1 year of diagnosis. Steve Jobs of Apple has this and according to recent tabloid reports, he has about 6 weeks left to live. Dr. Gonzales charges $12,000 per year, which is also not covered by insurance. His patients are typically at stage 3 or 4 when they come to see him, and he recommends they have 4 organic coffee enemas per day (like Steve McQueen did before he died), send hair samples to some woman (who appears to also be a quak with no medical training or scientific background) for results, and take 200 pills per day.

After watching this telecast, I have no respect for Ms. Somers, and it appears to me that her only motivation is money - by selling her books, and who knows why she endorsed these two doctors?

Would You Use a Physician Who Was Trained Outside of the United States?

Dr. Oliver Dorigo was trained at Ruprecht-Karls-University of Heidelberg Faculty of Medicine (1989) in Germany... not the United States! I never knew that the doctor who would perform major surgery on me was not trained here in the United States as UCLA was a "training hospital". All Dr. Dorigo had to do was complete a written examination to pass the Medical Board License of California. I would never had hired a doctor who was not trained in the United States, except Dr. Dorigo did not have an outside office, but a hole in the wall at the Ronald Reagan UCLA building in Westwood, CA. UCLA misled me and all the other people who went to UCLA for medical treatment. There was no way for me or anyone else to know that he was not trained in the United States. Nothing on the walls stated he was a graduate of a German University.

Even though Dr. Dorigo has an Italian last name, he speaks German and was trained in Germany. He wanted me to have chemotherapy for a total of 36 hours - which would have amounted to "torture". What is unbelievable about this situation is that UCLA hires physicians who are not trained here in the United States.. and patients are unaware of that!

Latest Update

HAPPY NEW YEAR to one and all, and with new information.

When I left UCLA in September, 2009, I went through St. John's Health Center in Santa Monica, California for a new doctor. When I went to this doctor on my first appointment, he took blood tests and one included the CA 125 Test that is so important to this case and after I left him for another doctor, I got my medical file that included a surprise that I now reveal to you.

What I never knew, and what HSAG did everything in their power to cover up, is the fact that the CA 125 Test, known as CPT 86304 Innumoassay for Tumor Antigen, Quantitative, CA 125 lists 22 different types of medical conditions to determine if cancer is in the body outside just the ovary as HSAG stated. It covers the abdominal, pelvic, fallopian tubes, genital organs, ovary, placenta, uterus, and cervix. In other words, it covers everything in the female body from the waist down! And when I had my CA 125 test on May 21, 2008 (one week before I underwent major surgery on May 28, 2008), it was normal as I had said all along. I NEVER HAD CANCER IN MY BODY and all the doctors and personnel involved in my medical care at UCLA knew it, but yet went ahead with major surgery on me, that could have cost me my life, just for financial gain.

I urge all the people who have read this blog, but have not signed on as "Followers", especially women who have been told they have cancer in any part of the body below the waist, do demand a CA 125 Test and demand to see the results before you agree to surgery. The CA 125 Test is normal when the results are 35 or lower, meaning no cancer in the blood stream, and if over 35 then ask for a second opinion with another doctor or hospital. It can mean the difference between life and death. I had to learn the hard way because I trusted UCLA as the third highest ranking medical center in the country and my doctor, Oliver Dorigo.

Dr. Jennifer Ashton on the CBS "Early Show"

TODAY IS THE FIRST ANNIVERSARY TO THIS BLOG, AND I HAVE NEW INFORMATION BASED ON THE ABOVE TITLE.

WHEN I RECEIVED THE FINAL REPORT FROM HSAG (Health Services Advisory Group), THEY LIED AND NOW I HAVE THE EVIDENCE FROM DR. ASHTON'S REPORT. SHE SAID TODAY THAT IF YOU HAVE A TUBAL LIGATION (as I did in 1986) THAT WOULD PREVENT OVARIAN CANCER AND THE REASON IN THE REPORT OF JUNE 24, 2010, STATED "according to authoritative medical textbooks and journals, this test does not verify the presence or absence of cancer in other areas of the body other than ovarian." THAT IS AN ABSOLUTE LIE. ACCORDING TO THE WebMD INTERNET SOURCE, IT STATES "if a doctor has found a cancer that has spread to other parts of the body (metastic cancer) he or she may do a CA-125 TEST TO FIND OUT WHERE THE CANCER STARTED. HIGH LEVELS OF CA-125 ARE A STRONG SIGN THAT THE CANCER HAS STARTED IN THE OVARY. BUT OTHER TYPES OF CANCER CAN INCREASE levels too".

THat is a direct contradiction to what Denise Browsky, RN wrote in her report from HSAG. Even though I wrote Senator Boxer and she did an inquiry on my behalf with Medicare and HSAG, HSAG stuck to its report, all of which were lies.

The "Hat Trick" of Medicare Fraud involves the Medical professional, law firms in Century City and HSAG.

Because I have been the victim of IDENTITY FRAUD, the last being using my debit card to pay an insurance payment with Mercury, I want all to know that my legal name is Janet H. Winston.. Watson is my maiden name and I am 5'8" with green eyes... that cannot be changed.

UNITED STATES SENATOR BARBARA BOXER RESPONSES

I wrote Senator Boxer and asked for a congressional investigation into the fraud within the Medicare system that I experienced with UCLA and all the professionals involved in my medical treatment and surgery in May of 2008.

I receieved a letter from her personally on September 7, 2010 that included two letters she received regarding the investigation. One was from the Office of Clinical Standards and Quality dated August 24, 2010 that was addressed to me, however I NEVER RECEIEVED IT., and the other was from the Centers fro Medicare Services in Seattle, Washington - the heart of this cover-up.

It now appears this should be a criminal investigation for Medicare fraud by the medical professionals who attended me, and the private business known as HSAG in Tampa, Florida. HSAG gathered all the evidence I had against all those involved and shared with them what I had, and discussed how to "edit" their report so that it would appear all involved met the "standard of care" and therefore no action was taken. This fraud has been going on for years and its the "dirty little secret" at least in Los Angeles, in that, a "teaching hospital" such as UCLA would not charge enough money for any law firm to undertake a lawsuit against them when in fact, the law firm would have to pay between $50,000.00 to $100,000.00 for "cost". So UCLA could get away with fraudulent medical treatment and surgeries on Medicare patients, because Medicare pays within one week of billing received, and a company such as HSAG would make sure no professional would be held accountable because they "met the standard of care" with the treatments and surgeries. That is why Medicare is in such trouble.

In addition, I found out from a letter I received from "S.I.", who is the Associate Regional Administrator in Seattle, that a James Randolph Farris, M.D., was the Consortium Administrator in Dallas, Texas... This was a surprise to me. The former Director of Clinical Labs at UCLA fled UCLA for Texas. I did not know until I received this letter that the heart of this cover-up was in Texas as a "consortium" and was not under the jurisdiction of the Office for Civil Rights through Medicare, because they are a "private business" not a Medicare office in Baltimore, Maryland or Washington, D.C.

It's no wonder the medical industry has been getting away with this fraud for years, because it is a "dirty little secret" betweent the medical professionals, law firms in Century City, and the private companies that "investigate" these wrongdoings.
