Congratulation to you Scott Pelley for standing up to your journalistic values. The fact CBS would fire a man of your caliber after 37 years as their employee because you would not alter the truth and show false bias in the "60 Minutes" program. is fabulous for young people to learn from.
To go public for the American people can see and hear for themselves is what this country needs in all aspects of life in and out of news reporting. Reporting truth on all aspects of events that affect the lives of the American people is what this democracy needs. Too many people are afraid to tell the truth you are not one of them and a breath of fresh air and the reason I am posting this horrible situation on my worldwide blog.
I have watched Steve Colbert and Scott Pelly and have enjoyed him immensely. I won’t watch CBS anymore, they have taken all the media and made it Trump and I don’t like that.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment. I have watched both men and agree with you. I only watch 2 daytime dramas, because that is all their is I don't watch CBS anymore. Trump has destroyed our country and especially the media.

DeleteRemember that this is June 6, in 1944 on the French coasts in the morning, American, English, Canadian troops and all the Allies together landed their forces on France. We should all feel grateful for their sacrifice.
ReplyDeleteI am very aware of D-Day, because my father Phil Watson played only 3 months with the Canadians in ice hockey in 1944 and won his 2nd Stanley Cup and won his 1st with the NY Rangers that he played with for 13 years. All Americans should be grateful for our D-Day victory and we are.
ReplyDeleteI also grew up in Hamilton, Ontario and learned to play hockey as a youth,, Did your Father play the Canadians of Montreal?
DeleteYour Mother, Helene Anderson, was such a good lady. Did you Love her much….
ReplyDeleteI know your Father was really in Love with your Mother at the time your were born….when did your Mother leave him.
ReplyDeleteMy mother left my father in 1948 and he left NY for Montreal. Yes, my father played 3 months for the Canadians in 1944 because England was at war and needed their hockey players. My father was a Canadian citizen but lived and worked in NY where I was born in 1942. So he won his second Stanley Cup
ReplyDeleteThat must have a cost your Father a lot of pain in his life Jann…did you ever think about that…I am sorry, I just get around these things when I first wake up…
